As a Purchasing Lead, you will:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the purchasing team.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Analyze purchasing data and trends to forecast future procurement needs.
- Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and improve supplier relationships and performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams.
- Prepare reports on procurement metrics and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance for budgeting and invoice reconciliation.
- Address vendor issues and resolve supply discrepancies.
- 3- 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing; at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of sourcing and vendor management
- Experience in Beauty Industry is a must
